Armenia
Armenia wears its history at altitude — monasteries wedged into gorges and balanced on volcanic ledges, many of them older than most countries' names, with Mount Ararat presiding from across a closed border. Yerevan counters with café terraces, brandy, and a vast manuscript library. It pairs naturally with Georgia for a two-country Caucasus arc.
